Programs Available at All County Parks

The Interpretive Department at St. Joseph County Parks has been going through some changes and is evolving. We are now offering the majority of our interpretive programs at ALL of our four fully operational parks including: Bendix Woods, Spicer Lake, St. Patrick’s and Ferrettie Baugo Creek County Parks. New program topics will be offered for the 2003-04 school year and some of our old programs will be getting face-lifts!

If you would like to book a program for your class, call 574/654-3155 until June 1 to reserve your program. After June 1 call the park where you would like the program conducted to make reservations. Programs can be booked up to nine months in advance, so start booking now! (see phone numbers below).

Be on the lookout for a new Interpretive Programs Brochure that will be coming out in late spring. This brochure will have all of our program listings and information on how to book a program. All of our interpretive programs fulfill Indiana’s required science standards. Once you book a program with us, a $15 non-refundable deposit is required after you receive your confirmation card.
