Cross Country Skiing at St. Patrick’s

When: December 26 through January 3, daily January 6 through February 28, Wednesday through Sunday (snow conditions permitting)
Time: 11am to 4pm
Fee: Gate fee plus $4 adult daily trail fee, $3 youth daily trail fee (ages 15 and under) OR $15 adult seasonal trail fee, $10 youth seasonal trail fee $10 ski rental available
Site: St. Patrick’s County Park: Red Barn

Ski two parks for the price of one! St. Patrick’s and adjacent Madeline Bertrand County Park have teamed together to offer a uni-trail pass. Trail passes purchased at either park will be honored at both parks. Trails are groomed at both parks throughout the week. Rental includes skis, boots and poles. Parental signature is required for renters age 16 and under. All equipment is due in by 5pm (additional fee applies for late return).

Cocoa and Candlelight Ski

When: Fridays, January 15 & 29, February 12 (snow conditions permitting)
Time: 6 to 9pm
Fee: $5/person includes beverage $10 ski rental available
Site: St. Patrick’s County Park: Red Barn

Enjoy skiing by the light of glowing luminaires on snow-covered trails. At the Manion Cabin enjoy hot chocolate, coffee or water to revive you for the return journey. An interpreter will also provide an “edutainment” activity at the cabin. Use your senses to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature at night.

Snowshoe Rental

When: December 26 through January 3, daily January 9 through February 28, weekends only (snow conditions permitting)
Time: 11am to 4pm

Gate fee plus $3/person
Site: Ferrettie/Baugo Creek County Park: Baugo Station

Snowshoeing is a great way to enjoy winter sights and sounds. Plus, it never hurts to get a little added exercise in the winter! Parental signature is required for renters age 16 and under. Equipment is due back by 5pm (additional fee applies for late return).

Innertubing

Winter fun for everyone! Innertubing hills are supervised. Innertubes are provided as available. Sleds and toboggans are not permitted. Not recommended for children 3 years of age or younger.

Private Innertubing Parties

Private parties are ideal for your club, school, church, business or family event. Parties are available during the week and after public hours on the weekends at both innertubing sites. Disc Golf

When: Open daily
Time: 10am to park closing
Fee: Daily pass: $4/adult; $3/youth (age 15 and under), Annual pass: $30/adult; $20/youth
Site: Ferrettie/Baugo Creek County Park, Pro Shop located in Gate House

Group Canoe Rental

Planning a company or family picnic? St. Joseph County Parks offer many facilities and picnic sites for rent throughout the year. You will be pleased to find a safe environment, clean facilities and beautiful settings for your company picnic or family reunion. Now accepting reservations one year in advance.
