Treat yourself to the sky dance of the American Woodcock! Fondly known as Timberdoodle, Bogsucker, and Labrador Twister, this unusual shorebird performs an unparalleled "sky dance" to win mates. Prior to sunset, meet with a Park Naturalist to learn about the life, history, and lore of the woodcock. Then take a short quiet hike to the woodcock's staging grounds to observe this amazing spring ritual, which begins shortly after sunset. Meet in the White Barn Parking Lot.
