Why is maple syrup sweet? How can you get maple syrup from your own trees? The answers to these questions and more will be provided during Maple 101! Join us for an afternoon of tips, tricks and how-tos of tapping maple trees to make syrup. We will cover how trees make sugar, correct techniques for tapping, how to cook sap into syrup and how to participate in our sap-sharing program. Maple refreshment and hot drinks provided. Registration and payment are required by February 4.
