St. Joseph County Board of Health Meeting
With a little help from park staff, learn about bats, spiders, and other misunderstood animals. We will hunt for insects, look for tracks, play nature games, and dig in the clay. Campers will earn an official "Nature's Super Detective" Badge. Limited space. Registration ends 6/20/2022.
Join park staff for a Dune day adventure for 6th-8th graders. We will explore a beech-maple forest at Warren Woods and climb the dunes at Floral Lane on the north end of Warren Dunes State Park. (Hike is a forty minute climb up onto the backside of the dune). Limited space. Registration ends June 29th.
Get your hands and feet wet during this week's deep dive into the fascinating world of water. Through habitat exploration, water recreation, and scientific experiments, campers will learn the importance and benefits of water. The week will end with an overnight camp outside at the Manion Cabin located at St. Patrick's County Park. Limited space. Registration ends 7/4/2022.
*Minimum age 14 yrs. Under 18 yrs. must be accompanied by an adult. Help us keep the creek clean by contributing to our goal of removing small debris and trash. While enjoying an afternoon paddle, do your part and support a healthy, thriving environment for plants and wildlife who rely on this habitat. *Vessels and required life jackets provided.
