Household Hazardous Waste

Purpose

St. Joseph is home to a permanent Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection facility which accepts various residential materials on a free drop-off basis.

The Solid Waste Management District's Household Hazardous Waste Program has two main goals:
  1. To educate the public about household hazardous waste.
  2. To make available safe and acceptable disposal options for household hazardous waste.
