Clerk's Responsibilities

The Clerk’s office is responsible for filing new civil and criminal cases for Circuit, Superior and Probate Court and entering all orders pertaining to those cases.

Please call the clerk's office in which the action is filed. All cases filed with St. Joseph County are randomly assigned to the Court and Judge.
