An Improvement Location Permit (ILP) is a zoning approval necessary prior to the alteration, change, enlargement, placement, erection or location of any building, structure, improvement or sign. Single-family & Two Family Residential development does not require an ILP. Permits for single-family and two family residential can be obtained directly from the Building Department. Most non-residential permits are handled through the Plan Review process, administered by the Building Department, except for Signs, Cell Towers, and Temporary Uses. Applications for signs, temporary uses, and wireless communication towers can be completed online.
